A Second Report from W Bro Geoff Seaman, organiser of the London Trip to Grand Lodge

The Provincial Grand Master and Deputy Provincial Grand Master led a group of 17 Somerset Mark Masons to London on Tuesday 7th March to attend the Mark Quarterly Communication meeting being held at Grand Lodge.

After meeting up for lunch at Shakespeare’s Head, Holborn the group made its way to Grand Lodge. The highlights of the meeting were seeing and hearing first-hand accounts of the positive effects that the Mark Benevolent Fund is making too many charitable causes, not just throughout the United Kingdom but abroad as well.

A particularly moving address was made to the meeting by ‘saint’ Diana, a remarkable Romanian lady who has set up a project in Romania for Ukrainian families fleeing from the war.

Following the meeting, the group had an enjoyable meal at La Ballerina near Covent Garden before a quick drink at the ‘Mad Bishop and Bear’ at Paddington before catching trains back to Somerset’

Thanks to everyone who helped make this a special day.
