Grand Promototions

In September, a contingent of Somerset Mark Masons travelled to London, for Mark Grand Lodge, to witness two very distinguished Brother receive their Mark Grand Rank Promotions.

Everyone met in the Shakespeare’s Head at midday, as is the usual custom; for drinks and food.

The meeting was held in the Grand Temple at Freemasons’ Hall, where everyone was in high spirits watching their friends and colleges be honoured. The meeting was followed by lunch in the Grand Dinning Room at the Connaught Rooms and a tour of Covent Garden.

All Mark Masons are entitled to attend Mark Grand Lodge, and we encourage you to join the Somerset Contingent when they travel to London for the next meeting of Mark Grand Lodge on the 12th of March, 2024. The usual meeting point is at the Shakespeare’s Head at midday. Dining will be at a local restaurant.
