RAM Promotions

A good number of brethren attended the Provincial Royal Ark Mariner Assembly held at Wedmore Masonic Hall in September. The RAM Assembly took place within the meeting of Somerset Installed Commanders Lodge, where several Brethren were honoured with Royal Ark Mariner Provincial Rank.

Phil Voisey addressed the Lodge, saying that Royal Ark Mariners Lodges in the Province are in a strong place with very few people leaving. He encouraged all Mark Masons who are yet to be Elevated to consider it.

He also invested his Deputy Director of Ceremonies Graham Bodman with the Mark Benevolent Fund Grand Patron Award. He indicated he would like to see all Somerset Lodges achieve Grand Patron status during the Somerset 2028 festival.

During the evening, the Traveling Ark was delivered from Yatton Lodge to the Somerset Commanders Lodge.

The meeting was followed by an excellent festive board, with top food, great company and jovial banter!
