Provincial Grand Master designate announces name of his Deputy

The Provincial Grand Master Designate, Phil Voisey has announced this week that he will appoint W.Bro Tony Guthrie PAGDC as his Deputy at the Provincial meeting on Saturday 4th May at the Webbington Hotel.
W.Bro Tony is a member of Carnarvon Lodge No 119 and the secretary of St Andrew's Lodge No 1924, he is currently the Provincial Deputy Grand Director ceremonies, a post he has held for the past three years. He is well know throughout the Mark Province, congratulations from all Somerset Mark Master Masons!

New PGM for Somerset Craft

The Most Worshipful Grand Master, HRH The Duke of Kent, has been pleased to appoint W.Bro David John Medlock DL PSGD, Past Assistant Provincial Grand Master as successor to R.W.Bro Stuart Hadler who is retiring from office on 3rd April.
Bro. David is a Past Master of St Alphege Lodge No. 4095. He served as Provincial Senior Grand Warden in 2001-2 and with distinction as Assistant Provincial Grand Master 2006 – 2011. He has been Chairman of the 2020 Festival since 2011. From both public and masonic life Bro. David brings a wide range of experience and expertise to his new role as the leader of the Craft in Somerset.
Bro. Medlock is due to be installed at the Annual Meeting on Thursday 4th April 2019 at the Webbington Hotel.

W.Bro David is visiting the Royal Somerset Lodge No 973 in his capacity as Chairman of the 2020 Festival, receiving a cheque for the Festival from W.Bro Clive Lambert.


Four Somerset Brethren appointed to RAMGR

These distinguished Somerset Masons received their well deserved promotion to the rank of Royal Ark Mariner Grand Rank at the Annual Assembly of the Ancient and Honourable Fraternity of Royal Ark Mariners held at Freemasons Hall Great Queen Street London on the 11th of December 2018.

They were supported by the Provincial Grand Master, John Morgan and the Deputy PGM and PGM designate Phil Voisey, together with other members of the Province. Congratulations to you all from your fellow Somerset Brethren!
