Before the presentation of the prizes the Organiser of the day Eric Kellett had presented a cheque for £300 to the John Morgan, PGM for his Hope for tomorrow appeal. Although the day is not organised as a charity event, careful management meant that some money had been accumulated over the years. The PGM thanked Eric and the golfers for supporting his appeal. As the event has always been very well supported by the brethren of Wiltshire a cheque for £100 was presented to John Boland for onward transmission to the Wiltshire Mark Benevolent Fund.
